OASIS Templates and Guidelines
(and other Useful Tidbits for Technical Committees)
Last Updated: 28 October 2009
NOTE: 31 Aug 09: White Paper Template updated.
28 Oct 09: Removed RDDL elements from namespace document template; RDDL resources seem to have gone dark.
The following templates and user guides are for use by members of OASIS Technical Committees. The use of these specification templates is required by the OASIS TC Process Policy. These templates implement the Guidelines for Filenames, URIs, Namespaces and Metadata along with the OASIS Naming Guidelines: Metadata and Versioning policies. Please forward any comments or questions to OASIS TC Administration or your TC Staff Contact.
All technical work should be created using these templates. All specifications submitted for Public Review, Committee Specification vote, or OASIS Standard vote must conform to these templates. Specifications that have reached Committee Specification status on or before 15 February 2007 are expected to conform to the previous version of templates. If you need assistance please contact the TC Administrator.
An email notification list has been created for Technical Committee specification editors (tc-editors@lists.oasis-open.org). The main purpose of the list is to post information relating to the creation, maintenance and submission of TC work products. While the list is intended to address the needs of TC editors, all members are welcome to subscribe. Archives are publicly accessible.

These white papers should provide factual information on one or more OASIS Standards or specifications. TC chairs should notify communications@oasis-open.org of approved white papers, so their availability can be promoted in OASIS News.
