Requesting Persistent Non-Voting Member Status

A Persistent Non-Voting Member retains participation rights but is not eligible to vote and does not count towards Quorum. To request a change in membership status:

Steps:
  1. Send an email to both the TC Chair and the TC mailing list requesting your membership role be changed to "Persistent Non-Voting Member" status.
  2. Include an effective date; either the date of the notice or other specified future date.

If in the future you decide you'd like to go back to Member status, just send another email to the TC Chair, copying the TC mailing list requesting revocation of Persistent Non-Voting Status and the effective date (again, cannot be retroactive).
