Requesting a Leave of Absence

Every Voting Member is entitled to at least one Leave of Absence during any 12-month period. During such time you do not have voting rights nor do you impact Quorum. Voting rights are regained immediately upon your return.

First Request:

Steps:
  1. send an email to the TC Chair and to the TC ;mailing list, specifying:
    1. the start date (no sooner than 7 days from the date of the request), and
    2. the end date (no more than 45 days).
  2. the request is automatically granted and noted in the TC ;meeting minutes.
  3. the request will end:
    1. on the date specified,
    2. upon attending a TC meeting or Subcommittee meeting after the leave begins, or
    3. upon casting a vote in an electronic ballot.

Second Request:

A Voting Member may apply for a maximum of one additional Leave of Absence. The second Leave must be approved by the TC.
