The editorial duties of the Technical Committee are officially the Chair's responsibility but can be delegated to another person. The Technical Committee Editors are the persons who maintain the specification document(s). Oftentimes an Editorial Subcommittee is created to facilitate their work.
Editors create drafts, update drafts with input / issue resolutions from the Technical Committee Members, and make the drafts available for review and approval.
Editors may also be responsible for maintaining Issues Lists for each of the work products created and maintained by the Technical Committee, updating their status as appropriate and noting their resolution.
