Express entity references are necessary and widely used. Checklist needs to explicitly state if express entity definitions are not acceptable.

Check list clause: 53 The listed classification refer to the PLCS EXPRESS entity definitions, which is a fixed class hierarchy. Should it refer to a class that is the superclass of the role classes?
Comment: (Tim Turner 2008/02/27)
Added Date_time and Local_time to the classifications possible. Given that the user may decide to only provide date info, time info or both, all the classifications should be possible.

Check list clause: 57 Shouldn't Date_or_date_time_assignment.assigned_date be bound as an external parameter to ^date_time in representing_date_time? Shouldn't the definition of the type be consistent with how it is defined in the input parameter section. I would have expected the following: date_assgn(Type='ENTITY(Date_or_date_time_assignment)'))
Comment: (Tim Turner 2008/02/27)
There is no need to define date_time as a reference parameter as there is no requirement for that (as yet). It was confusing because the assignment in fig 1 was missing the ^date_time ref parameter from representing_date_time to make this explicit. This is only used internally to the assigning_time template so it need not appear as a ref parameter in assigning_time.
