Under the characterization section it says that no characterization is allowed ? Is this really true ? Looking at the ARM, there are quite a few characterizations that can be done. Ex, propability for an planned activity output. This would also require a reference parameter to be added to Applied_activity_assignment.

Changed to: No common characterizations of the template assigning_activity have been identified. However, the ISO 10303-239 EXPRESS model may enable other assignments to the entities instantiated by the template.

The example in the instance diagram shows that the result of a "planned" activity (Activity is always typical or planned) is a Product_as_realized. Wouldn't it be more correct to have a Product_as_planned as the result of an planned Activity ?

I am not sure what diagram you are referring to ... anyway, you can plan to do an activity of a product_as_realized
