Meeting Agendas

Best practice: create an agenda for your meeting and send it to the Technical Committee e-mail list at least three days' prior to the meeting.

Many committees use an agenda template that contains a number of standing items and can easily be modified to incorporate meeting-specific topics.

It's also a great idea to include hypertext links to any related documents, wiki content, issue list items, etc. for easy reference during the meeting.

The agenda can then be used as the baseline for the meeting minutes, with discussion and decisions noted at the appropriate location.
