<author> metadata element contains
the name of the topic's author.
The author is usually the person, organization, or
application that created the content. This element is equivalent
<Creator> element in Dublin Core.

@typeattribute on many other DITA elements. Beginning with DITA 1.2, values in this attribute are not limited to a small number of choices; the following values were used in DITA 1.0 and DITA 1.1, and are also recognized for the

- The primary or original author of the content.
- An additional author who is not primary.
