The <delim>
element defines a character marking the beginning or
end of a section within a syntax diagram. Typical delimiter characters are the parenthesis, comma,
tab, vertical bar or other special characters. This element
is part of the DITA programming domain, a special set of DITA elements
designed to document programming tasks, concepts, and reference information.
