Abstract:

This document assists users of OASIS CIQ V3.0 Committee Specification package that was released in November 2007 on how to use the fixes done to the files as described in the Change Log document for OASIS CIQ V3.0 Committee Specification. 

 

Status:

This document was last revised or approved by the OASIS CIQ TC on the above date. The level of approval is also listed above. Check the current location noted above for possible later revisions of this document. This document is updated periodically on no particular schedule.

 

Technical Committee members should send comments on this specification to the Technical Committee’s email list. Others should send comments to the Technical Committee by using the “Send A Comment” button on the Technical Committee’s web page at www.oasis-open.org/committees/ciq.

1        Installing and using V3.0 xAL Errata related files

1.1 Pre-requisite - Important

Before extracting and installing the package, you MUST have downloaded and installed the OASIS CIQ Specification V3.0 package (OASIS CIQ V3.0.zip) that was released in November 2007. This document is applicable ONLY to “OASIS CIQ V3.0.zip” package.

1.2 Installing and using revised files from change log

If no changes to any files of “OASIS CIQ V3.0.zip” were done, ignore this document and just replace the current installation with the new package (OASIS CIQ V3.0 CS02.zip).

If any of the following changes were done to the files under “OASIS CIQ V3.0.zip” after installation, namely,

-          Adding/Updating/Deleting data in any of the enumeration files (code list - option 1) or genericode (code list – option 2) related files (.bat, .sh, .cva, .gc, .sch, .xsl).

-          Changes the file path names in the batch or shell files

-          Changes to example files or adding or deleting example files

-          Changes to .xsd files

follow the steps defined in the following sections.

1.2.1 Copying and testing installation of revised files from change log

Install the “OASIS CIQ V3.0 CS02.zip” package in a temporary directory.

The directory structure will be:

·         If xAL.xsd (code list - option 1) file under your CIQ installation directory “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\xsd” has been changed, rename it to “xAL-bak.xsd”. Copy “xAL.xsd” file from “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\xsd” in your temporary directory to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\xsd” directory of your CIQ installation. Apply the changes made to xAL.xsd (now renamed as “xAL-bak.xsd”) to the newly copied “xAL.xsd” file. Delete “xAL-bak.xsd” file.

·         If xNAL.xsd (code list - option 1) file under your CIQ installation directory “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\xsd” has been changed, rename it to “xNAL-bak.xsd”. Copy “xNAL.xsd” file from “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\xsd” in your temporary directory to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\xsd” directory of your CIQ installation. Apply the changes made to xNAL.xsd (now renamed as “xNAL-bak.xsd”) to the newly copied “xNAL.xsd” file. Delete “xNAL-bak.xsd” file.

·         Copy “ExtendOrganisationInfo.xsd” and “xPILPartyDetailsExtension.xml” files from your temporary directory “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\examples\xPIL” to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\examples\xPIL”.

·         If xAL.xsd (code list - option 2 (Genericode)) file under “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\xsd” has been changed, rename it to “xAL-bak.xsd”. Copy “xAL.xsd” file from “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\xsd” in your temporary directory to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\xsd” directory of your CIQ installation. Apply the changes made to xAL.xsd (now renamed as “xAL-bak.xsd”) to the newly copied “xAL.xsd” file. Delete “xAL-bak.xsd” file.

·         If xNAL.xsd (code list - option 2 (Genericode)) file under “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\xsd” has been changed, rename it to “xNAL-bak.xsd”. Copy “xNAL.xsd” file from “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\xsd” in your temporary directory to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\xsd” directory of your CIQ installation. Apply the changes made to xNAL.xsd (now renamed as “xNAL-bak.xsd”) to the newly copied “xNAL.xsd” file. Delete “xNAL-bak.xsd” file.

·         Replace all the files in your CIQ installation directory “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\spec” by copying all the files from your temporary directory ““ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\specs”

·         Delete all the files from your CIQ installation directory “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\supp”:

·         Copy all the following from your temporary directory “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\supp” to your CIQ installation directory “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\supp”:

·         Delete the directory “xAL” from your CIQ installation directory “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\doc”

·         Copy the directory “xAL” from your temporary directory ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\doc” to your CIQ Installation directory ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\default\doc”

·         Delete the directory “xAL” from your CIQ installation directory “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\doc”

·         Copy the directory “xAL” from your temporary directory ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\doc” to your CIQ Installation directory ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\doc\”

·         Go to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\default\prepare” CIQ installation directory and run “prepare-default-cl.bat” (if windows) or “prepare-default-cl.sh” (if unix/linux). This will take few minutes to run and no errors should be produced.

·         Go to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\default\test” CIQ installation directory and run “test-all.bat” (if windows) or “test-all.sh” (if unix/linux). The following output should be produced.

 

·         Go to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\customised\prepare” CIQ installation directory and run “prepare-customised-cl.bat” (if windows) or “prepare-customised-cl.sh” (if unix/linux). No errors should be produced.

·         Go to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\customised\test” CIQ installation directory and run “test-all.bat” (if windows) or “test-all.sh” (if unix/linux). The following output should be produced.

·         Go to “ciq-v3\ciq\v3.0\xsd\genericode\customised\test” CIQ installation directory and run “test-metadata.bat” (if windows) or “test-metadata.sh” (if unix/linux). The following output should be produced.
