Call for Consent for Committee Specification 03

22 January 2021

Announcement:

The members of the OASIS Business Document Exchange (BDXR) TC approved submitting Service Metadata Publishing (SMP) Version 2.0 Committee Specification 03 to the OASIS membership as a candidate for OASIS Standard on 22 January 2021. See the ballot at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/ballot.php?id=3555.

Previously, Service Metadata Publishing (SMP) Version 2.0 CS02 completed its 60-day public review as a candidate for OASIS Standard and received comments, as documented in the comment resolution log. The TC has made changes to the Committee Specification to address these comments, and it has been published as Committee Specification 03. The changes are Non-Material, and were made ONLY to address the comments received during the public review period.

Committee Specification 03 is now available for the call for consent.

Call for Consent:

As prescribed in the OASIS TC Process (https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/tc-process#OASISstandard), an announcement of the call for consent will be sent to each OASIS Organizational Member to specify the closing date and time for the consent period, which must be open for at least 14 days.

Additional information about the specification and the BDXR TC can be found at the TC's public home page: https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/bdxr/. See Timeline Summary below for the history of this specification.
